Technical Project Manager (Full-Time)

Brief Description

The Digital Technology team of designers, researchers, and developers is dedicated to meeting the digital needs of jewelry professionals and buyers. Projects encompass everything from concept to creation and craft an experience for large scale B2B e-commerce, responsive web, customer shopping sites, and more. This team blends coding skills with design sensibilities, contributing to the creation, maintenance, and support of various web applications.

We are looking for a Digital Project Manager with at least 2 to 3 years of project management experience. Someone who is very organized and a great time manager. Candidates should have experience developing and managing technology project plans, analyzing team performance to adjust process, and working in an agile development environment (experience with the Scrum method is preferred). To succeed at this role you must be someone who’s conversant with how web and ecommerce technology works.

Key Responsibilities

• Being a point of communication between the business and the web development team
• Assisting with preparing and maintaining project plans and delivery schedules
• Documenting feature details, such as user stories and acceptance criteria, to ensure deliverables align with business goals
• Facilitating the agile development process using Scrum and Kanban methods
• Staying abreast of what’s going on in the business and helping to eliminate roadblocks for the development team
• Working with the Business Analyst on gathering requirements and managing dependencies with various other departments
• Organizing and leading project meetings and agile ceremonies
• Providing high-level status updates and recommendations to management and leadership
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 to 3 years of project management experience
• You thrive off thoughtful planning, problem solving, and multitasking
• You have extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills, and you’re able to work with multiple stakeholders at various levels and disciplines
• You are inherently curious, you’re a fast learner who can move quickly, and you’re motivated to have a deep understanding of the projects you’re working on
• You are adept at developing and building relationships
• You are punctual, structure-oriented and results driven
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile Scrum or PMP Certification
• Experience using Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence)
