Summary
A successful Staff Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Accounts Payable - Enter Vendor Invoices into Accounting Software (JDE/E1)
Accounts Receivables – Cash application and reconciliation, statements of accounts coordination
Prepare Debit and Credit Notes
Monthly journal entries including accruals and prepaids
Inventory Management
Support with audit data requests
Expense reports and reimbursement requests
Balance sheet reconciliations
Fixed assets maintenance
Overall support for month-end close
Assist Division Controller with projects as needed
Education & Skills Required
Must have a bachelor’s in accounting, Finance or Business Administration; and 5-7 years related experience
Supervisory Responsibilities
May carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. May train employees on accounting system and distributing work to lower levels.
Language Skills
Must be able to read, write and speak English. Knowing Japanese or Spanish a plus.
