Who We Are Looking For

We're seeking a Supervisor, Social Engagement to join VML's large and growing social marketing team.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct and oversee the monitoring, assessment and responses to social media mentions, replies and comments.
  • Serve as the community management representative to clients and agency partners.
  • Collaborate with integrated agency team members on projects and client needs, mobilizing the larger VML teams to fulfill these requests.
  • Develop real-time and long-term guidance on how and when the brand should respond to current events, online trends and potential controversies or threats.
  • Onboard and train junior team members.
  • Use, choose and train others on social media management software (SMMS) tools and processes.

Who you are:

You're an organized, detail-oriented social media leader with a gift for creating and implementing community management tools, technology and processes. You'll help oversee and shape our approach to behavior as the eyes, ears and voice of a brand through its owned social channels. Success in this role is about actioning client requests quickly but thoughtfully - and turning ambiguity into clarity for the entire team.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 4 years of social marketing experience
  • Experience leading projects and overseeing the work of others
  • Advanced understanding of social platforms and functions, and the ability to share that knowledge with others
  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence and interact with clients
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Sprinklr is a plus

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
