Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day accounting function by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and other analyses
• Apply accounting concepts and reviewing data from multiple sources to reconcile complex and multi-currency accounts including inventory, fixed assets, accruals, revenue, intercompanies
• Work closely with other accounting team members to develop and continually improve processes, work papers, and other tools used for timely and efficient recording of financial information;
• Prepare monthly consolidated reporting files;
• Lead variance analysis for monthly reporting;
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and other filings as required for regulatory agencies;
• Supporting external audit including preparing audit schedules and leading discussions on assigned areas with internal management and auditor.

Qualifications:

• 3 years’ experience in accounting, including public accounting experience with a Big 4/National public accounting firm preferred
• CPA licensed preferred
• Have a thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting rules and processes.
