Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will oversee accounting operations in North America (United States and Canada). This role requires a meticulous, highly motivated team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage priorities independently. Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Finances and collaborating with the Operational Team in France, the Senior Accountant will handle:

• Accounting Matters: Main contact for accounting issues, managing B2B invoices, cash collection, and sales closing files.
• Monthly Checks: Ensuring timely bank payments, reviewing Account Receivables and Payables, performing cash reconciliations, and proposing new controls.
• Reporting and Budget: Recording invoices, preparing trial balances and financial statements, uploading budgets, and ensuring compliance.
• Sales Taxes: Preparing information for tax filings, ensuring timely payments, reconciling data, and selecting tax codes.
• Communication: Main contact for accounting and financial queries, maintaining regular communication with the Head of Accounting and Finances.

The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and preferably a CPA. Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, MS Office Suite, and knowledge of SyRUS is a plus. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential[^i^].
