Overview:

A leading real estate development company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, project accounting, preparing construction loan, reviewing job costing, and compliance, ensuring the integrity of financial processes while contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for development projects.

• Ensure accurate reconciliation of project costs, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.

• Support audit and tax filing preparation by collaborating with external auditors and consultants.

• Prepare monthly construction loan requisitions

Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial policies.

• Work closely with project managers and finance teams to streamline accounting processes and provide financial insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

• CPA certification preferred (or progress towards certification).

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development, construction, or property management.

• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and real estate accounting principles.
