About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting across both property-level and corporate entities, supporting tax compliance, and assisting in the preparation of distributions to our investor base. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in real estate accounting or fund structures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements for both property and fund-level entities
• Support investor distribution calculations and ensure timely reporting and execution
• Reconcile bank accounts, loan balances, intercompany accounts, and capital accounts
• Assist with budget tracking, variance analysis, and reforecasting for operating properties
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Support the preparation of audit workpapers and documentation for external CPAs and tax advisors
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures across multiple entities
• Help implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls as the firm scales
• Partner with asset management, acquisitions, and investor relations to provide financial insights and support

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, fund accounting, or public accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP, real estate-specific accounting, and financial reporting
• Experience with investor distributions and property-level financials is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, QuickBooks, MRI, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets and reconciliations
• CPA or CPA track preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
