JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounts payable. This role will be integral in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners. You will report to co-founder Travis Talmadge working 5 days a week out of our Soho office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all financial reporting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Work closely with external accountants to support tax filings and compliance.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and reporting needs.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks & NetSuite)
  • Critical thinking—ability to identify inefficiencies, anticipate potential risks, and implement solutions that enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience in the hospitality or service industry is a plus but not required.
  • CPA or working toward CPA certification is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100-115k base salary

Reports to: Travis Talmadge (Co-Founder)
