Job Title: Receptionist Classification: Full Time - Non-Exempt Department: People Operations
Horwitz, Horwitz, and Associates is a progressive family-owned law firm, located in Chicago's loop, who has represented Illinois' injured for over three generations. We are passionate about seeking justice for those who have been injured and who may have been previously denied representation. We are seeking to fill the role of Receptionist with our Firm.
About The Role
The Receptionist is a positive, proactive, and effective communicator who provides an outstanding customer experience for our clients. This role is an integral part of the team who supports the firm's operations by working directly with all team members and Attorneys to ensure a seamless and organized workflow. The Receptionist is a team player who is able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the People Operations team and Firm.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following, but are not limited to:
Manage a high-volume of incoming calls while providing an exceptional customer experience
Warmly greet clients, vendors, and visitors upon their arrival to the firm
Process incoming mail daily
Coordinate bookings and maintain the conference rooms
Maintain a welcoming and well-organized reception space
Collaborate in creating an inclusive and engaging office environment
Assist with event planning and inter-office social functions
Work in conjunction with the Director of Operations on administrative tasks
Assist with special projects
Other duties as assigned

Ability to read, write, and converse in Spanish highly preferred
Salary & Benefits
Compensation range is $38,000 - $42,000 annually and depends on experience
