Protection & Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement protection and control systems for electrical utilities.
• Perform system studies, including short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis.
• Develop and review relay settings and logic diagrams.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of protection and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to protection and control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
• Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in protection and control technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in protection and control engineering.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard software for system studies and relay settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical protection principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
