The New York City FC stadium project is seeking a new team member who is passionate about working within a dynamic and fast-paced project environment.
The Project Manager will provide administrative, project management, and coordination support to the stadium project team and the office of the COO. This role will focus on supporting the coordination, planning and the delivery of the new NYCFC stadium under construction to be opened in 2027 as well as supporting the COO on various projects and workstreams as needed. The position requires a forward thinker, an ambitious attitude, and willingness to support any role requested by the project team.
The candidate should be adaptable to change as responsibilities may vary depending on the pressing issues, whilst working across the key project workstreams, helping to solve challenges from project meeting planning, setting agendas, communicating with key stakeholders to gather timely and relevant information, minute taking, building decks, and coordination of workstreams from inception to execution.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player who shares our passion, applies a systems-thinking approach to problem solving and can work independently and nimbly within a team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Coordinate, schedule, and plan meetings and recording decisions (e.g. next steps, assigned tasks, deliverables)
Creating and updating workflows
Acting as the contact point for all project participants
Manage project documentation including the online maintenance site
Breaking complex projects into simpler tasks and setting goals and timeframes
Monitoring progress of the tasks and addressing potential issues
Coordinating quality controls for ensuring the deliverables meet
Retrieving necessary information such as related case studies and client/user requirements
Preparing and providing documentation to key stakeholders and internal teams
Perform general admin tasks as needed
Prepare executive summaries for the project team and senior management
Coordinate with team members, consultants, and suppliers regarding project materials
Attend training sessions, progress meetings, inspections, site meetings and other events outside of the office
Travel to the project site once groundbreaking takes place
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s Degree from a University
3+ years as Assistant Project Manager or similar role in a construction environment
Must understand and be familiar with basic construction terminology
Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP/PRINCE2) a plus
Competent with MS Word / Excel
Excellent PowerPoint skills and experience creating decks
Proficiency with project management software such as Procore and MS Project
Experience with technical documentation, flowcharts, and schedules
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details
Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
Must be able to work independently
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.

COMPENSATION:
This exempt position has an estimated annual base salary range of $77,000-$90,000 and is not overtime eligible. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
