Project Manager - Commercial Construction

A reputable general contractor in Austin, TX, specializing in large-scale commercial construction. With a strong portfolio in Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) projects and healthcare construction, the company is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead high-profile projects and drive successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground-up and renovation projects within the TFC and healthcare sectors.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall execution from preconstruction to closeout.
• Ensure compliance with TFC regulations, healthcare construction standards, and safety protocols.
• Handle contract negotiations, RFI processes, submittals, change orders, and procurement.
• Implement QA/QC programs to maintain high construction standards.
• Lead and mentor project engineers and field teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in large commercial construction.
• Experience working on Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) projects is required.
• Strong background in healthcare construction and knowledge of AHCA regulations is a plus.
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and other construction management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
