Synectics have an exciting opportunity available for an Operations Operative to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. As Operations Operative, you'll work closely with our global team to enhance stock processes, ensuring that all products, whether incoming or outgoing, are stored, handled, and dispatched on time. You’ll also assist with day-to-day administration tasks, such as organising shipments for demonstrations, trade shows, and marketing materials, supporting our North American business operations.
Principal Accountabilities
Support Daily Operations: Utilise knowledge of stock operations, procedures, and ERP systems to assist with daily tasks.
Maintain the office facilities to a good standard as directed.
Manual Handling: Efficiently perform manual tasks, including lifting, packing, and moving inventory, while ensuring accuracy through the ERP system.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate equipment.
Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in handling and organising products, leveraging the ERP system to maintain correct inventory levels.
Computer Literacy: Use basic computer skills to navigate the ERP system for data entry, inventory tracking and record-keeping.
Organisation: Maintain an organised and efficient stockroom layout, optimising productivity with the help of ERP-driven processes.
Administrative assistance to the NAM Sales & Engineering Team.
Teamwork: Follow instructions and work collaboratively with the global production team, using the ERP system to coordinate tasks.
Safety Adherence: Comply with all safety protocols and workplace regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
