Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a meticulously organized and detail-focused Operations Manager. This role presents a thrilling opportunity to play a significant role in the company's expansion, with responsibilities spanning across supply chain management, inventory control, logistics, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, including product development and accounting, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the company's triumph.

*To be considered, the applicant must currently be working or have experience within being an Operations Manager for the Supplements/Wellness or Cosmetic industries. One day per week on-site*

Key Responsibilities:

As an Operations Manager, your role will be instrumental in supporting the company's expansion. You will be involved in various aspects of operations, from sourcing raw materials to managing inventory levels. Your exceptional negotiation skills will be utilizes in securing favorable pricing for raw materials and services. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining robust relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics partners. Your ability to cooperate effectively with different departments will ensure seamless operations across the board.

• Assist the Chief Innovation Officer and Head of Operations in sourcing raw materials and negotiating pricing
• Oversee internal progress with product development and liaise with suppliers as required
• Manage rebate programs and report to Head of Operations
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and negotiate better pricing where possible
• Establish and uphold strong relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics partners
• Cooperate with Head of Operations and Accounting on inventory management, purchase orders, and delivery timing
• Ensure accurate purchase orders are placed with contract manufacturers
• Communicate & supply paperwork (ASNs) to 3PL regarding deliveries from manufacturers
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to manage sample approvals as needed
