About the role - The Operations Manager provides leadership for their location’s operation. They manage productivity and performance of the operational staff to provide the best service to our clients. They manage the materials, equipment, and supplies to support the operation. They direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution services. This position reports to and supports the General Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

•Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and continuously improving upon daily processes to accomplish all requirements.

•Manages performance and productivity of personnel through compliance with outlined policies and procedures.

•Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

•Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with inventory management system.

•Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees according to operational requirements. Follows up on reporting and measurement of these decisions.

•Maintains warehouse staff performance results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Works with General Manager on planning, monitoring, and appraising performance results.

•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and providing guidance to operational staff.

•Manages scope in inventory management system, Rental Works, making sure orders and transfers are complete and up to date.

•Other tasks as assigned.
