We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our not for profit organization. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage all audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while providing exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead audit engagements for not for profit organizations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and GAAS standards.
Conduct financial statement audits and prepare audit reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent client service and addressing their needs effectively.
Utilize CCH Engagement and other audit software to streamline audit processes and enhance efficiency.
Assist in business development initiatives to expand the organization's client base and services offered.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout all audit processes.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Conduct training and provide educational resources for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in audit practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on financial statement audits, preferably for not for profit organizations.
Strong knowledge of taxation, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with audit software, particularly CCH Engagement, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster professional growth.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a hybrid work environment.
Authorization to work in the US.
