We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who enjoys working in a team on engineering projects for a national firm offering unique solutions to its customers.
What You’ll Do:
Lead mechanical engineering discussions and provide expert technical design support.
Assist in developing schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications that align with project and client requirements.
Drive the mechanical design process from concept development to construction documentation.
Design mechanical HVAC system layouts, including equipment sizing and selection.
Develop plumbing schematics, including air systems, fans, and ducting.
Review and validate design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analyses, and cost estimates.
Collaborate and coordinate with engineers, architects, designers, clients, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of construction documents while maintaining seamless coordination across disciplines.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD or Revit)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
