Mechanical Engineer

Aegis is seeking a mechanical engineer to join our clients organization near River Grove, IL. The ideal candidate has the below experience and skills:

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Machine Design
• 1+ years of working experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Design experience- Solidworks or Unigraphics NX software
• Design standpoint- open on type of designs they have done. (Packaging machines, automotive- MUST be manufacturing)
• Experience with CAD Assembly
• Self-Starter personality- willing to learn, adaptable and moldable.
• Able to be hands on- 50% in the office and 50% out on the shop floor as needed.
• Able to work on multiple projects at one- not right in the start but, eventually this will be the case.

Nice to have:

• Able to work with Analysis tools within 3D modeling software- basics.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
