Material Resource Planners ensure that all necessary information needed for production is provided to each production department. The Material Resource Planner has the responsibility of keeping production and paperwork flowing effectively and efficiently.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Resource Planner to join our operations team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of production materials and resources in alignment with planned orders. The Material Resource Planner will work closely with supervisors and the production team to maintain efficient production schedules and material management systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle systems, batch processing, and print-related operations in a manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule : 3:00 pm - 11pm, Sunday - Thursday
Work Duties
· Print Batch Tickets: Generate and print batch tickets for production runs, ensuring the correct materials and quantities are listed for each production batch.
· Print Master Case Labels: Print master case labels for finished goods, ensuring compliance with labeling requirements and correct product identification.
· Oracle Support: Provide Oracle system support by entering and updating material-related information, demand orders, and other relevant data in the system.
· Print Move Orders: Generate and print move orders to direct the movement of materials between production areas or facilities.
· Production Check with Supervisors: Collaborate with production supervisors to verify production needs, timelines, and material availability, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed. Assess volume requirements for materials against planning assumptions for day-to-day handling of material orders.
· Use the material planning system available in the ERP (MRP) and ensure that the information uploaded is accurate, up-to-date and correct any inconsistencies detected.
Minimum Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 1 year minimum data entry experience
· Microsoft Excel- mid to advanced level
Prior experience utilizing ERP system
Demonstrates sense of urgency, good communication, attention to detail

Ambient conditions – Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment. Hot or cold Temperatures, all seasonal elements, both indoors and outdoors.
Atmosphere: Dust (Peanut - known allergen), cotton, canola seed, and odor
Must be able to work around noise levels that may reach or exceed 85 decibels and require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift
Protective clothing required: Uniforms, hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, hair restraints, steel-toed shoes, gloves and safety harness may be required based on task performed; employees are required to wear all required PPE (i.e. hard-hats, safety glasses, earplugs, uniforms, and steel-toed boots) in addition to job specific PPE requirements. *Employees in roles that require respirators will need to be clean shaven.
