OVERVIEW: This full-time role will be instrumental in driving excellence in both payroll operations, total rewards administration and HRIS systems integration, for approximately 305 employees across the United States. Acting as a key partner within the HR function, this role ensures employees are supported, paid accurately, and provided with comprehensive, compliant, and competitive benefit offerings.

Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
PAYROLL OPERATIONS
Manager the bi-weekly payroll process for exempt and non-exempt U.S. based employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
Process monthly commissions, incentives, off-cycle payments, and other special payroll items
Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing clear and timely support to employees and stakeholders
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors proactively
Partner with HR and Finance to process terminations, bonuses, retroactive pay, and other adjustments
Conduct regular payroll audits to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws; recommend and implement necessary updates or changes
Ensure all payroll-related data is properly documented, entered, and reconciled in HRIS and payroll systems
TOTAL REWARDS ADMINISTRATION
First point of contact for all benefits inquiries from employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefit programs, eligibility, and coverage options
Oversee benefits enrollment, life event changes, and COBRA administration within the HRIS to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Lead new hire benefits onboarding and orientation, ensuring a seamless and informative employee experience
Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of benefit issues
Oversee employee leave programs including FMLA, ADA, and company-specific leave policies, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
Review, audit, and reconcile monthly benefits invoices in collaboration with Finance to ensure timely payment and accurate reporting
Prepare and file annual compliance reports including ACA, EEOC, and California Paydata
Support and maintain updates to the Employee Handbook, ensuring compliance with evolving labor laws and company policies
Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, corporate gifting, and company events.
