Purpose
To lead and optimize end-to-end logistics and warehouse operations that support Divergent's vertically integrated manufacturing environment. This role ensures product flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery across internal and external customers while fostering continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and team development.

Purpose
To lead and optimize end-to-end logistics and warehouse operations that support Divergent's vertically integrated manufacturing environment. This role ensures product flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery across internal and external customers while fostering continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and team development.
The Role
- Lead day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, kitting, shipping, and material movement across facilities.
- Develop, implement, and manage standard operating procedures for inventory accuracy, traceability, and warehouse safety.
- Oversee 3PL partners and freight providers to ensure compliance with cost, quality, and timing targets.
- Own and manage inventory control systems and reporting, ensuring accurate cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Procurement to synchronize materials flow in support of production requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles to reduce waste, improve flow, and enhance throughput.
- Hire, coach, and develop high-performing warehouse and logistics teams.
- Support audits, compliance initiatives, and reporting as required.
- Maintain KPIs related to inventory accuracy, OTIF, cycle count performance, dock-to-stock time, and freight spend.
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
- Track record of successfully leading logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, including team management and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of WMS/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Experience managing inbound/outbound logistics, freight, and inventory controls.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing or startup environment.
- APICS, Six Sigma, or Lean certification.
- Familiarity with 3D-printed or advanced manufacturing supply chains.
- Experience scaling warehouse operations through rapid growth phases.
- Strong data analysis and process improvement background.
- This role is primarily on-site in Torrance with exposure to both office and warehouse environments.
- May require standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day.
- Occasional travel may be required to support supplier and 3PL relationships.
