What You Will Do

Commercial Finance business lead for CVS and Walgreens and support on the Walmart account. This role oversees accounts that contribute to over $200M in sales, while also supporting the largest customer on Cerave. They are a key member of both the Sales and Finance organization partnering with the cross functional account teams across Cerave, La Roche Posay and Vichy. The Manager is responsible for customer specific account controlling for these customers including trade spend and promotional management, customer P&L analysis and budgets and trends.

Position Accountabilities

  • Collaborate across Cerave, La Roche Posay and Vichy to drive top-line sales and ROI.
  • Drive both the store and fast-growing e-commerce businesses by providing recommendations on growth targets and opportunities to improve the P&L.
  • Present to Sales and Finance leadership through regular reviews of trade spend, risks and opportunities, and hot topics.
  • Play a key role in the annual budgeting process, particularly in areas of trade spending. Specific emphasis on trade spend strategy and allocation of funds.
  • Perform financial analysis on promotional funding requests from field sales (ROI, Net Sales Lift, Cost per incremental unit, etc.).
  • Analyze post-promotion KPIs. Compare to forecast and share learnings with Field Sales and Marketing. Utilize Trade Promotions KPIs to forecast future performance and evaluate various promotional options.
  • Analyze Customer P&Ls working closely with account manager and brand finance on investment BTL and total customer profitability
  • Provide financial insight on Inventory in Trade and perform SISO analysis
  • Lead the account audit and internal controls process, validate promotional events are set-up properly, provide financial approval, and support internal and external audits.
  • Manage and understand trade promotion/ account P&L database and reporting tool (COMPASS).
  • Manage and understand Trade Fuel Management database (APEX).
  • Ensure all liabilities are properly accrued at year end.

Education/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in finance preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA/CPA preferred.
  • Consumer products industry experience preferred.

Skills

  • Strong computer skills required; must have expert-level experience with Excel and Word.
  • Financial reporting experience and use of SAP, Hyperion, Oracle or similar systems highly desirable.
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, business acumen, leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows

Salary Range: $98,400 - $140,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
