Position Overview:

The Logistics and Fulfillment Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the organization’s fulfillment activities, warehouse operations and transportation logistics. This role ensures efficient storage, handling, shipping, and distribution of goods while optimizing delivery performance, reducing transportation costs, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance our supply chain operations, drive continuous improvement, and support the company's growth trajectory.


Key Responsibilities:

3PL Warehouse Operations & Transportation Management

  • Support and manage 3PL logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution. Collaborate with internal teams (inventory planning, ecommerce, operations, marketing, finance, IT) and external warehouse and logistics service providers.
  • Work with transportation management partners on production deliveries to 3PL.
  • Establish and oversee best practices for inventory storage, packing, labeling, and shipping. Draft and implement SOPs for special projects and new products, ensuring compliance through partner training.
  • Support customer integration and monitor fulfillment performance to balance cost-efficiency with high customer satisfaction. Stay informed about shipping methods and analyze cost/benefit impacts.
  • Work with 3PL partner to Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, damage, and discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of shipments (on-time, in-full delivery performance)
  • Monitor carrier performance and resolve service issues or delivery exceptions.
  • Oversee annual physical inventory at 3PL.
  • Manages and oversees quarterly destruction with partnership from finance.
  • Analyze 3PL performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Create weekly reports on shipping and fulfillment KPIs. Handle month-end reconciliation with 3PL.
  • Optimize transportation routes and consolidate shipments to reduce costs.
  • Analyzes weekly and monthly warehouse and transportation invoices.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop KPI’s to track logistics, warehouse, and transportation performances.
  • Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities without compromising service and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align logistics and fulfillment operations with overall business goals.
  • Evaluate and enhance logistics processes to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Validate processes to identify and reduce risks/gaps.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, and transportation management.
  • Proven experience in managing 3PL warehouse operations and transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping methods, freight cost structures, and freight optimization.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships.
  • Excellent problem-solving, data manipulation, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and proficiency in inventory management systems, warehouse management systems, and logistics tracking software.


Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the CPG, wellness, or CBD sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and logistics best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
