Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our legal team. This rare internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in corporate and business law, contracts, and compliance. The intern will work closely with our in-house legal counsel to support various legal projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing, drafting, and managing various legal documents and commercial contracts, including but not limited to agreements related to content acquisition, marketing initiatives, suppliers, sales, IT services, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research on corporate, contract, and regulatory matters.
• Support legal team with document organization, maintaining records, and updating templates.
• Work with internal teams on legal and business matters, including collaborating with Marketing, Finance, Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure timely submission and execution of legal paperwork.
• Prepare memos and legal summaries for the legal team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a J.D. from an accredited law school, preferably as a 1L or 2L.
• Interested in sports media, business, marketing, and/or IP law.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and can prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage document systems efficiently.
  
  

Expected Compensation: The anticipated hourly wage for this internship is $25/hour.

Duration: The expected duration of the internship is 8 weeks.
