Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant and event space revenue, but many venues are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains. Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants and venues an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local them compete with big chains. This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes other event services (DJs, florists, etc).

About The Role

As an early sales representative at Perfect Venue, you will play a crucial role in driving high-velocity SMB deals, conducting product demos, and converting prospects into customers. Working closely with the CEO and a dynamic team, you’ll help refine our sales strategies, provide valuable product feedback, and contribute to our fast-growing startup's success. We’re looking for a self-motivated, goal-oriented sales professional with experience in tech or event sales, a strong track record of exceeding targets, and proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce. Your ability to build relationships, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success.

What You’ll Do

  • Focus on SMB high-velocity deals.
  • Provide product demos to close potential prospects.
  • Provide product feedback to improve our offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and tech teams to ensure alignment.
  • Utilize HubSpot and spreadsheets to maintain strong contact and company lists.
  • Adapt to the dynamic environment of a fast-growing startup.

What We Need

  • 2+ years of tech sales and/or event sales experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and generating high-quality leads.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
