Base pay range
As an Immigration Paralegal at Alma, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in our startup's growth and success. Responsibilities
- Apply your creativity and legal expertise to process interesting, complex employment-based immigration cases and client matters.
- Prepare visa petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for foreign national clients such as H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, TN, and E-2.
- Draft talent visa petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for foreign national clients such as O-1A, O-1B, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW.
- Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide product feedback.
- Work closely with supervising attorney and legal teams to develop, improve, and implement new case workflows, protocols, and client resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or Paralegal Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience drafting and filing talent visa cases, with a focus on O-1s, EB-1s, and EB-2 National Interest Waiver cases.
- Experience in developing new firm protocols, case templates, and providing best practices feedback, is a plus!
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
- The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Possess a client service mindset, attention to detail, and a desire to achieve a high level of productivity.
