HR Coordinator


Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality advisory support to HR Business Partners, Business Unit Managers, and Leaders on routine, cyclical, and ad hoc HR focus areas, including but not limited to reasonable accommodations, background escalations, and Tier 2 leave of absences.
  • Partner with global and regional HR colleagues to support people initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day support for employees and managers on advisory HR matters in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Facilitate communication and liaise between employees, managers, the Reasonable Accommodations team, employment law, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with employee relations and employment law as required.
  • Ensure requests are appropriately tracked; document and maintain accurate, timely case notes and statuses via centralized systems such as HRCM and AskHR, from initiation to closure.
  • Proactively identify trends and suggest actions to reduce risk; provide proactive guidance to enhance the employee experience.
  • Ensure that service delivery standards are consistently met or exceeded by providing high-quality support and guidance.
  • Exercise exceptional judgment; escalate pertinent matters when necessary.
  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills; adapt communication style to fit various situations and audiences.
  • Build strong relationships and foster trust quickly.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the Human Resources function and relevant labor laws.
  • Thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and dynamic team environment.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and manage multiple workstreams and assignments effectively.
  • Maintain a “roll up your sleeves” mentality with a positive, can-do attitude and openness to change.
  • Multitask effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail amidst a high volume of workflow.
  • Be results-oriented and able to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly and on time.
  • Apply effective problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience as an HR Coordinator or in a Recruiting role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with patience, tact, and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent independent judgment; ability to discern when to escalate issues.
  • Ability to navigate and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in handling sensitive matters with confidentiality.
  • Preferred experience coordinating accommodation requests or in a similar support role.
