Reports to: Human Resources Director, Fashion & Accessories

Role Overview

This HR Manager / HRBP provides dedicated Human Resources support, collaboration, and thought partnership to the Chloé Maison, and also supports other Richemont Fashion & Accessories Maisons in the U.S. and Canada, as needed, including Dunhill, Delvaux, Alaïa, and Montblanc.

This role works closely with Maison leadership and Human Resources teams to strategize and implement talent management plans and processes that drive business performance through organizational design, learning and development, performance management, and career and succession planning, while promoting professional growth and development among the Maison’s teams. The ideal candidate is a strong generalist practitioner with foundational experience in fashion or luxury retail recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Maison leadership to plan and execute all performance management and organizational development activities to drive business performance and grow capabilities across teams.
  • Provide ongoing HR-related thought leadership and coaching to grow a culture of ownership and accountability across Maison leaders and people managers.
  • Partner with employees across the Maison(s) to continually assess skill gaps and incorporate development needs into broader HR strategy, including learning and development programs, and career/succession planning.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of employee benefit programs, leave guidelines, payroll processes, paid time off, and other company programs and policies to support employees with managing the terms of their employment.
  • Partner with leaders to create and facilitate change management plans, and coach leaders to drive evolution and effectuate outcomes.
  • Serve as a representative of Chloé and other F&A Maisons, as needed, to support the alignment of Richemont’s Regional and global HR/people practices with business needs.

Employee Relations

  • Champion inclusion to promote a work environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging across the F&A Maisons and throughout the Richemont Americas Region.
  • Partner with Maison leaders and people managers as well as Legal team(s) to assess, investigate, and address employee relations issues, mitigating risk to the organization.
  • Coach managers to prevent, identify, and proactively address performance management and employee relations concerns.
  • Ensure manager accountability in consistently adhering to performance management protocols and procedures.
  • Oversee the consistent and fair application of all HR policies and procedures across assigned teams, and contribute to the creation and evolution of policies and process improvements, as needed.
  • Performance Management & Organizational Development:
  • Understand Maison and Region business and HR goals, strategies, and KPIs, and ensure these objectives are aligned with all talent-related processes and programs to maximize performance outcomes.
  • Provide regular HR/workforce updates to Maison leadership; reviewing and calibrating talent capabilities, skill gaps, and succession plans against business needs, providing recommendations, and contributing to business-case presentations to support promotions and shifts in organizational design.
  • Oversee the Maison’s performance management processes, coaching leaders to proactively address performance gaps and opportunities and ensuring timely follow-up on performance improvement plans.
  • Partner with the Region’s HR leaders, Learning & Development team, and Maison leadership to design and implement training tools and opportunities that address skill gaps and business needs.
  • Facilitate the talent acquisition process between hiring managers and the Talent team to promote a positive recruitment process for internal partners and external candidates. This includes regular status meetings, interviewing candidates, creating/evolving job descriptions, crafting job announcements, and ensuring a consistent, seamless induction plan and is prepared to welcome and integrate new employees.
  • Regularly conduct workforce analysis for assigned Maison(s), including headcount planning, turnover, and other required reports.
  • Provide guidance to managers throughout the My Performance Journey performance management process, ensuring that performance evaluations and annual touchpoints are completed and communicated in a timely and effective manner.
  • Leverage internal HR tools, benchmarking, and analysis to effectively advise Maison leaders during the annual salary review process.

HR Systems And Processes

  • Maintain employment status information in HRIS, and relevant documentation in employee files for all Maison employees; e.g., status changes, terminations, reporting structure, documented conversations, etc., and generate reports as needed.
  • Maintain accurate people data to support proper expense allocation and reporting.
  • Partner with HR Data and Analytics to compile and analyze internal and external data and apply findings to relevant decision-making.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with skills in employee relations, organizational development, recruiting, and performance management.
  • Experience in luxury retail preferred.
  • Experience with an international matrixed organization, a plus.

JOB DIMENSION

  • Responsible for boutiques in the U.S. and Canada:
    • Chloé: 13 boutiques
    • Total F&A: 48 boutiques
  • 25% travel; regular boutique visits required.
  • Candidates must be in-office 4 days/week

Expected Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000

Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience
