About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with experience at the intersection of enterprise sales, cybersecurity, and heavy industry to join our team as our first dedicated sales hire. You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the founding team to position and sell Galvanick to some of the most dynamic industrial companies in the world. This is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and heavy industry as America re-industrializes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various geographic markets. Our ranges are based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage startup companies. The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is expected to between $325K- $375K/year (including bonus or commission based on sales performance). You will have the ability to overperform with accelerators.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Galvanick is an early stage startup and base salary is only one component of our compensation package. Depending on the position offered, equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
Location
The Galvanick team is based in Seattle and LA. Travel of up to 50% may be required for this role and we are happy to consider remote candidates.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for rapid customer acquisition and predictable revenue.
- Create and refine a sales playbook (ideal customer profile, sales process, messaging, and objection handling).
- Lead as the primary closer, maintaining a strong pipeline and driving key deals to completion.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team once initial success is achieved.
- Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity trends to provide expert guidance and solutions to customers.
- Early sales leadership track record at a successful cybersecurity or tech startup.
- 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- Proven ability to build and scale sales processes and teams in an early-stage environment.
- Metrics driven approach with a consistent history of exceeding targets.
- Hands-on mindset —no task is too small in a startup.
- Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex value propositions and build rapport.
- Strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple customer engagements.
- Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time, as needed.
- Experience with cybersecurity, industrial, operational, or fulfillment environments.
- You enjoy solving problems and are an early technology adopter.
- Comfortable taking risks and owning the accountability for managing them. You have a bias for action.
- Startup experience and an understanding of zero to one ideas. You enjoy attacking complex and novel problems.
