Join Our Team
You will be our Group Chief Compliance Officer responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of SiriusPoint’s compliance and ethics program, driving the Company’s ongoing commitment to compliance with all applicable laws and regulations globally, while also ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures. The Group Chief Compliance Officer will be a key member of the Legal & Compliance team and will report direct to the Chief Legal Officer.
Your responsibilities will include:
Oversee our Global Compliance Program while ensuring compliance with local requirements
Provide subject matter expertise and best practice advice regarding Compliance Risks
Collaborate with business units and corporate functions across the organization to build consensus, foster a culture of compliance, and align business objectives with regulatory requirements
Lead and develop a global compliance team
Develop, implement, and maintain global compliance policies and procedures
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits, including third party compliance risk assessments
Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters
Investigate and resolve compliance issues and breaches
Liaise with regulatory bodies, from time to time, and ensure timely reporting of compliance matters
Stay updated on global regulatory changes and advise the organization accordingly
Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors
Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization
Collect and aggregate data, perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis, identify trends, and generate key metrics and reports for senior management and the SiriusPoint Board of Directors
Conduct internal investigations into whistleblower complaints and other conduct suspected to violate the Company’s compliance policies
Ensure appropriate coordination with other key control functions, including risk management, internal audit and legal

10+ years of experience at a multi-line re/insurance carrier working in a legal or compliance position.
5+ years in leadership position
Bachelor’s Degree required; J.D., advanced degree, or industry certifications preferred.
Experience working with and advising senior business leaders.
Demonstrated ability to influence, work effectively within a global organization, build consensus and foster collaborative relationships across multiple divisions and jurisdictions.
Experience with technology solutions to enhance compliance oversight, including tracking and analyzing data points to improve compliance monitoring and risk management.
Strong knowledge of global regulatory environment and best practices.
Ability to work individually and collaboratively on group projects.
Ability to manage others, with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative, inclusive nature and team-player attitude.
Highest level of ethics, integrity and honesty.
SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
