We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team and drive FTL trucking sales. This is a remote position, offering an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to grow within a fast-paced industry and make a significant impact on our company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and Develop New Business: Identify and target potential clients within various industries, focusing on those requiring Full Truckload (FTL) transportation solutions.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new leads, build relationships, and close sales deals with businesses needing FTL services.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as their main point of contact for all FTL logistics needs.
Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their transportation requirements, propose tailored FTL solutions, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and gain a competitive advantage.
Collaborate with Operations: Partner with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of sales contracts and deliver top-tier service to clients.
Pipeline Management: Maintain an active sales pipeline, track leads, manage customer accounts, and ensure timely follow-up.
Sales Reporting: Accurately report sales activities, progress toward targets, and account status to senior management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, ideally within the FTL trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics industry.
Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive, results-driven environment.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Full Truckload (FTL) transportation sector, including pricing, market trends, and logistics operations.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Relationship Building: Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to maintain long-term business partnerships.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain focus on achieving sales goals.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, email, and other digital platforms to manage sales activities and customer communications.
Remote Work: Self-disciplined and able to work effectively in a remote setting, managing time and workload without direct supervision.
