As our Controller – Finance, you’ll play a key leadership role in overseeing all casino financial operations. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, support regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of integrity and accountability across the Finance team. This hands-on leadership position is perfect for someone with strong technical skills and a strategic mindset who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, compliance, reporting, and
controls
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and Illinois Gaming Board submissions
Oversee the reconciliation of casino funds and execute unscheduled audits of gaming and non-gaming operations
Develop and maintain internal control procedures in alignment with regulatory
standards
Recruit, coach, evaluate, and manage accounting team members
Safeguard corporate records and enforce financial policies and procedures
Act as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership
Promote and model a strong service culture across internal and external stakeholders
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA strongly preferred)
Minimum 3 years of progressive finance/accounting experience within the casino or gaming industry
Deep knowledge of financial regulations and internal control requirements in a gaming
environment
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong leadership and team development experience
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
