District Operations Manager

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a District Operations Manager to join our team of over 1,100 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the fire alarm, suppression, security, and sprinkler divisions
• Coordinate and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair activities related to life safety systems
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Manage and evaluate team performance, providing guidance and training as needed
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain and improve operational excellence
• Play a key role in developing strategies for business growth and expansion
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors
• Communicate status of all operations to the District General Manager
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing fire life safety systems operations, in a leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of fire alarm, suppression, security and sprinkler systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair processes
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required
