Job Profile

RxAnte is seeking a Director for the IT Operations team to support our growing IT operations requirements and responsibilities. The Director, IT Operations supports and manages the design, maintenance, and support of our internal and external systems under the direction of the VP, IT Operations & Information Security Officer, and will manage the IT Operations team. This position is based in our Sterling, Virginia facility.

Summary Of Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure a measured uptime of 99.9% for all IT and Network infrastructure and services at RxAnte and Mosaic Pharmacy Service. Demonstrate a consistent, reliable onsite presence.
  • Urgently respond to emergent situations, including outages and high-visibility technical difficulties.
  • Grow and manage the IT Operations team members (onsite and remotely at second pharmacy location) with support from the VP, IT Operations. Foster culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Work with the RxAnte and Mosaic Pharmacy Service’s Compliance Committee, the Senior Director of IT Compliance and User Success, and the VP, IT Operations, to maintain and support the business’s BC/DR program, and the Information Security and Compliance programs.
  • Work with business stakeholders to support the migration of IT Operations systems and services to Amazon’s AWS cloud platforms and solutions.
  • Lead IT initiatives for Mosaic Pharmacy Service’s operational environment, which includes, but is not limited to, integrated RxAnte proprietary analytics systems, pharmacy information management systems, and prescription filling automation systems.
  • Perform ongoing evaluations of existing network and IT infrastructure systems and services.
  • Assess current and future business needs and align solutions that achieve the business’s objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor infrastructure-related systems, and policies, procedures, and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage, source, and maintain professional services and outsourced solutions, while managing and maintaining vendor relationships. Lead vendor visits and monitor vendor activity.
  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
  • Review IT systems' performance to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements. Make recommendations for improving IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Eligible to participate in the IT Operations on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
