Job Details

Position Overview The Controller, reporting to the President, will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, controls, and compliance.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records
• Manage preparation of financial statements
• Timely financial reporting
• Develop and maintain internal controls
• Conduct quarterly and annual audits
• Analyze cost structures, help to ensure maximum profitability
• Financial forecasting and budget control
• Continuous improvement of processes and procedures
• Manage, coach, and develop department staff
• Work with management on financial strategies
• Oversee cash flow
• Analyze loans, ensure loan compliance
• Work with outside CPA for taxes and complaince
• Other reporting and duties as necessary
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6+ years accounting experience
• 4+ years accounting leadership
• Job costing experience
• Managing full cycle accounting and month-end close
• ERP system experience
• Financial reporting
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA
• Master's Degree
• Axon accounting software
