Position: Controller

As our Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing, preparing, analyzing, and distributing the company’s financial statements. You'll manage key financial processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes, variance analysis, and reporting, ensuring our financials are accurate, timely, and impactful. As a member of the leadership team, you'll own financial performance metrics and lead the charge on expense management and job profitability. What You'll Do:

• Oversee invoicing for all contract and spare part orders.
• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely invoice processing and payments.
• Handle accounts receivable, collections, and set credit limits.
• Lead the company’s annual financial audits and ensure compliance.
• Manage financial functions including lines of credit, bank balances, loan payments, and bank audits.
• Coordinate risk management and insurance programs, ensuring the most cost-effective insurance strategies.
• Lead annual insurance evaluations and renewals, covering liability, property, and workers’ compensation.
• Develop and report on budgetary controls, financial analytics, and cost reporting across all financial, production, and operational areas.
• Maintain, evaluate, and document accounting workflows and systems for efficiency and scalability.
• Support sales teams by managing foreign exchange buy forwards.
• Enforce credit policies and collections procedures to ensure timely cash flow.
• Partner with the President and leadership to provide sound financial guidance, raise strategic issues, and remove financial roadblocks.
• Serve as a backup for payroll processing.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or CPA is highly preferred).
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in progressively responsible financial roles.
• Skills: Proven management abilities with strong prioritization skills, and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills—clear and effective with all levels of the organization.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with a talent for sound decision-making based on accurate and timely data.
• Integrity: A high level of integrity, dependability, and a results-driven mindset with a sense of urgency.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with advanced Excel skills. Experience with Business Central, SAP, and Paylocity is preferred.
