Construction Superintendent

My client is a very reputable Design/Build General Contractor in the Chicagoland market. They specialize in light-industrial/distribution projects, but also branch out into commercial, medical, aviation, and office interiors. As they continue to grow year over year with a strong project backlog through 2025, they are looking to add a Project Engineer to the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations at a construction job site
• Leads daily morning meetings with the
• Follows construction drawings and approved plans
• Uses popular construction management software
• Order necessary equipment, tools, and materials
• Assists with setting and following the project budget and schedule
• Write daily logs and other necessary documentation
• Ensures all local, state, and national business codes and regulations are followed
• Ensures that the team adheres to all company policies and safety protocols
• Works directly with the project manager, architect, engineer, subcontractors and others on the project team

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Ground up, light-industrial project experience preferred
• Ability to utilize project management software

Job Offer

• $100,000 - $130,000 base salary
