Base pay range

$52,000.00/yr - $63,000.00/yr
Requirements

  • Assistant Property Manager for retail commercial portfolio
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Capability to identify and resolve issues by evaluating and implementing an appropriate solution based on cost/benefit analysis
  • Experience with Property Management Software (Yardi preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel and Word
  • Associate Degree (preferred)
  • Real Estate License (preferred)
  • 1-3 years property management experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager with operations, administration and maintenance of commercial retail properties, with an emphasis on leasing activities
  • Schedule and coordinate general maintenance for commercial properties under the direction of the Property Manager
  • Assist in the collection of monthly rental fees
  • Assist in the review and approval of incurred operating expense invoices
  • Routinely perform property inspections to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.
  • Meet with prospective tenants to show available units and discuss terms of occupancy
  • Investigate complaints, disturbances, and tenant violations; resolve issues by adhering to management rules and regulations.
  • Assist the Property Manager with financial reports, including budgets and common area maintenance reconciliation
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
