We are seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Systems Engineer to join our client’s team in either Beltsville, MD or Rosslyn, VA. In this role you will play a vital role in integrating Cribl into the clients infrastructure while leveraging Azure cloud services and ServiceNow to bolster our cybersecurity efforts.
This direct-hire role is fully on-site in either Beltsville, MD or Rosslyn, VA (location most preferable for candidate).
Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, possessing an active Secret clearance with eligibility for a final Top Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Administration:
Manage and optimize Azure resources, including storage, networking, compute, and Identity Access Management (IAM).
Architect, deploy, and enhance Azure cloud solutions, ensuring security best practices and compliance standards are met.
Terraform Proficiency:
Modify and maintain Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
Application Migration:
Lead the migration of on-premises applications and servers to Azure, handling configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Systems Administration Experience:
Strong background in IT systems administration or systems engineering, with expertise in Cisco, VMware, clusters, and server management.
Version Control and Automation:
Utilize GIT for version control and implement automation using Ansible and Azure DevOps.
Apply basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell and Bash to automate processes.
Overall Qualifications:
Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically with Cribl, Azure, and ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and incident management workflows.
Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks and data analytics methodologies.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience. An additional four years of experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Experience with Cribl, Azure Cloud, ServiceNow, and Terraform.
Background in systems administration or systems engineering, including experience with Cisco, VMware, clusters, and server management.
Proficiency in version control and automation.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Active Secret security clearance with eligibility to obtain a final Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
