We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief of Strategy to join our executive leadership team and play a critical role in shaping the strategic future of the firm. This individual will be a key driver of innovation, growth, and impact, ensuring that our work remains bold, equity-centered, and transformative.


Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Drive the firm’s overall strategic direction, ensuring alignment with our health equity mission across all service areas.
  • Lead the development and execution of long-term strategies that promote sustainable growth and measurable impact.

Market Analysis & Growth

  • Analyze market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and design strategies to expand and scale the firm’s health equity services.
  • Guide decision-making around new markets, innovations, and service areas.

Client Advisory

  • Serve as a senior advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on integrating health equity into policies, programs, and organizational structures.
  • Ensure the firm’s work continues to reflect leading-edge thinking and best practices in the field.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Spearhead business development efforts, including identifying partnership opportunities and cultivating relationships with mission-aligned stakeholders.
  • Develop new offerings and revenue models that drive both financial sustainability and social impact.

Thought Leadership

  • Oversee and contribute to the creation of high-impact content including keynotes, presentations, and publications.
  • Represent the firm at conferences and in the media to amplify our voice as a thought leader in health equity.

Collaboration & Team Building

  • Partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and cohesive execution.
  • Build and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and shared purpose.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy

  • Represent the firm in strategic alliances, coalitions, and advocacy efforts that support health equity.
  • Cultivate relationships with governmental bodies, nonprofits, foundations, and other critical partners.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, ideally within consulting, public health, social impact, or a mission-driven organization.
  • Deep understanding of health equity, systems change, and social justice frameworks.
  • Proven success in strategic planning, organizational growth, and business development.
  • Strong client-facing presence with excellent advisory and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate complexity, lead with humility, and inspire diverse teams toward shared goals.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to represent an organization publicly with authenticity and influence.
  • Advanced degree preferred, such as MPH, PhD, or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., public health, public policy, social sciences).
