Audit Analytics Senior Manager

Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a leading financial services firm looking to hire a Senior Audit Manager into their Data Analytics team. This role is a hybrid role based in New York City.

As a Senior Audit Manager within the Data Analytics team, you will:

• Work closely with Audit Leaders to identify and assess opportunities for data analytics within upcoming audits, ensuring that the data analytics portfolio is prioritized and managed effectively to maximize resource utilization.
• Convert auditor needs and business processes into data analytics solutions, focusing on designing, developing, and executing repeatable and scalable solutions to support audit objectives.
• Lead strategic projects related to data sourcing and tools to enhance the audit department’s capabilities, creating use cases, building data source repositories, and developing reusable data analytics products.
• Develop automation and dashboards to support Continuous Monitoring, Continuous Auditing, and broader audit processes and transformation initiatives.
• Implement machine learning solutions to improve efficiencies, gain insights, and deliver predictive and prescriptive analytics.

As a Senior Audit Manager within the Data Analytics team, you will require:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science and/or Data Analytics
• Bachelor’s degree in an Analytical field such as Data Science or Data Analytics
• Experience in the use of Analytical and automation tools and platforms
• Extensive experience in data analytics and data science, ideally within audit, risk management, or other oversight roles in financial services.
• A deep understanding of Risk Management and Internal Audit processes and standards is essential.
• Proficiency in analytical, automation, and visualization tools and programming languages, with a proven track record of delivering repeatable analytical solutions.
• Significant experience in data visualization and storytelling, with strong communication skills to clearly present complex analyses to auditors and executives.
