Audit Manager

Our client, a Japanese Accounting Firm is searching for an Audit Accounting Manager to join their New Jersey office. Must have CPA and 5+ years of audit experience. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that the candidate will be in the office at least once a week. Additionally, if audit engagements require onsite presence, the candidate must be available to meet those client needs as well.

Salary: 100-120k depends on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA Required
• BA in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of experience of financial audit experience
• Advanced ability in excel
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS and SSARS & J-Sox

JOB DUTIES:

• Review, examine and analyze accounting records
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients
• Review, analyze and understand audit plans based on risk assessment
• Research accounting laws
• Supervise audit and assurance duties including planning, and completing financial audits
• Review client data, financial statements and provide clients with insight and guidance regarding financial accounting matters
• Identify auditing, accounting, issues as they arise
• Provide leadership, collaboration and support to the engagement team
• Collaborate with executive teams, make recommendations for legal, regulatory and accounting issues that may arise
• Lead internal and external training for accountants and sr accountants
• Meet with clients and support their accounting matters
