Assistant Property Manager

Position Overview

The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction and property maintenance. This role involves managing tenant relations, coordinating maintenance activities, and assisting with financial reporting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing tenant relations and addressing tenant inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Support lease administration including lease renewals, terminations, and compliance with property policies.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues with vendors.
• Facilitate rent collection processes, ensuring timely payments and communication with tenants.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and potential renters.
• Assist in marketing efforts for vacant units, including online listings and open houses.
• Help prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes for the property.
• Manage vendor relationships and assist in the selection of contractors for property services.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in property management or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of tenant relations, lease administration, and property maintenance coordination.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
• Ability to handle financial reporting, budgeting, and rent collection processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
