Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $33.00/hr
Summary: Under general supervision, the Accounts Receivable clerk is responsible for the effective administration of outstanding accounts and application of payments. Performing general accounting tasks including but not limited to recording customer payments, assisting with invoice inquiries, and conducting collection activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include The Following

  • Administration of CompuLand™ landing fee system.
  • Responsible for daily audits of landing fee transactions including, but is not limited to research, confirmation, and/or adjustments to daily entries.
  • Responsible for the Collections of Past Due Accounts including but not limited to submitting accounts to collections, calling, emailing, and resubmission of outstanding invoices, or submitting accounts for write-off approval
  • Administration of Payments received by customers
  • Administration of changes and/or adjustments to customers contact information and/or changes in fleet
  • Provide other related customer service as required
  • Produces and issues various landing fee reports for monthly closings.
  • Assists Manager of Accounting Services in special projects related to landing fees
  • Under general supervision, performs difficult and/or complex general accounting tasks; assists in establishing improved accounting methods and procedures.
  • Provides direction and guidance to other employee(s) as may be required concerning landing fees and related issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer contact through positive lines of communication. Professionally represent the Company through frequent and meaningful contacts with customers.
  • Assists the Manager of Accounting Services in the preparation of required documentation.
  • Supports all applicable requirements under quality management system including tasks, documentation and written and practical tests.
  • Perform other duties incidental to the above.

Qualifications

  • Advanced accounting course or two years’ experience in performing general accounting duties
  • College background preferred with a concentration and/or major in Accounting and/or Aviation
  • Previous aviation experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills with ability to effectively utilize programs such as MS Excel, MS Word, and CompuLAND™ Ability to learn new programs introduced in the future.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a teamwork environment, including our Quality Management System registered to ISO 9001 current and/or related standard.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as, discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
