Accounts Payable Manager

We are working with CFO of a Beverage importer and wholesale distributor based in New York, NY. They are looking for a dynamic A/P Manager to join the company and manage a small team. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits including an excellent work-life balance!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversight and support of 2 accounts payable specialists
• Review of Accounts Payable entries for accuracy
• Oversight of Daily Cash Requirements Reporting
• Responsible for Credit Card Reconciliation
• Assist in preparing monthly billing files for Clients

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of A/P experience within Wholesale Distribution including 3+ years as Manager
• Knowledge of freight costs, standard operating costs(rent), multi currency AP, etc.
• Knowledge of foreign settlements, booking contracts, and dealing with pass thru payment
• Must have advanced knowledge of excel and exposure to A/P automation
