Accounting Manager

Salary: 95k-115k DOE

Position Overview

We have an exciting SaaS platform that helps small businesses in the restaurant industry optimize their customer experience and operations. We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical accounting function, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS, and supporting the company's financial reporting and auditing processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of financial statements and leading the group consolidation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Manage the group consolidation process, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support for complex transactions and accounting issues.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
• Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Enhance internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights on financial performance.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in technical accounting or corporate accounting roles.
• Proficient in auditing processes.
• In depth knowledge of AICPA and PCAOB.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus).
• Familiarity with group consolidation practices and financial statement preparation.
