Rare Necessity Digital Agency is looking for an Account Manager to lead client relationships, drive strategic growth, and oversee a team of account coordinators to ensure project success. This role requires a strong mix of relationship management, project oversight, and digital marketing expertise to deliver exceptional service and performance-driven results.

As an agency, we manage multiple brands across various industries, with a primary focus on e-commerce businesses and select service-based brands. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, has experience managing multiple accounts, and understands how to align digital marketing strategies with business objectives. This role also involves mentoring junior team members, streamlining account management processes, and helping scale the department for long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop a Team: Manage and mentor junior account coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Own Client Relationships: Act as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute marketing plans in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring strategies align with client business goals.
  • Process Optimization: Establish and refine account management workflows, improving efficiency and service delivery.
  • Project Execution: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations to ensure all campaigns run smoothly and on schedule.
  • Effective Communication: Serve as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring client needs are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track campaign results, analyze key metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Growth & Retention: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to maximize client success and revenue growth.
  • Problem-Solving & Support: Help resolve client inquiries and concerns in a timely, strategic manner.
  • Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging strategies to enhance client success and agency offerings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in account management or client services, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong mentorship and coaching abilities, with experience managing or guiding junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture strong client relationships.
  • Strategic mindset, with experience developing and executing marketing strategies across digital channels.
  • Project management expertise, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience with marketing tools such as CRM software, project management platforms, and analytics dashboards.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing, email marketing, paid media, and branding strategies.
  • A problem-solving approach with the ability to adapt to challenges and optimize strategies in real time.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with ease.
