Transforming education through AI! Yesterday, I worked with 48 forward-thinking teachers at a large, Ofsted Outstanding school in Ealing. We explored why AI is such a hot topic, got hands-on with the latest generative AI tools, and discussed the future of education. With Bloom's two-sigma problem as a starting point, we looked at AI's potential to personalise learning and achieve higher levels of student attainment. 4 Million UnType AI credits consumed 🚀 —a milestone that reflects the trust of our incredible users and our relentless pursuit of excellence in AI/ML engineering. While the greatest excitement for me has always been about transforming the lives of our users, this milestone adds another layer of thrill—engineering cutting-edge AI/ML systems capable of operating at a massive scale. From training and deploying scalable systems that process tens to hundreds of millions of multi-modal data points with precision, enabling near real-time inferences and enhancing AI experiences, to seamlessly managing vast datasets—every challenge has been an opportunity to innovate, adapt, and push the boundaries of possibility.

I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully obtained a new certificate: Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education!🎓 At the beginning of this year, I viewed AI primarily from a consumer insights perspective - what do people need to know about this headline- stealing technology? As I learned more, my curiosity grew: Where did AI originate? What is its history? Is it really magic? How can it be used to be impactful to society? How can I use it to be more productive? Seeking an academic source that provided objective insights rather than sell “hype,” I chose the MIT program, which exceeded my expectations. The faculty communication was exceptional, the cohort was enthusiastic, the assignments were practical, and the abundance of resources offered allow for in-depth exploration beyond the course. One of the most important lessons I learned is that AI is not "magic." Large Language Models (LLMs) are grounded in science and math, with a rich history. Understanding the terminology and how LLMs work, including their strengths and limitations, makes it easier to consider their applications. Nowadays, I am abuzz thinking about the potential impact AI can have personally, professionally, and for society!
