As convenience has increased, however,problems have also occurred including frequent rupture and even fire during use and manufacuture. A steam trap in a steam system is an important piece of equipment for properly discharging condensate from steam piping. Failure of the steam trap can result in steam blow through or cold, which can cause the following: ・Increased production costs due to decreased energy efficiency ・Decreased production quality due to lower steam temperature ・Steam system failure or shutdown due to water hammer ・Increased energy loss and CO2 emissions due to steam leakage By installing the Wireless Steam Trap Monitoring Device on the piping where a steam trap is already installed, it is possible to detect conditions of steam trap. 🌟Yokogawa Europe has been awarded the tender for the FEED phase of the Aramis Carbon Capture and Storage Project🌟 Working with KBC A Yokogawa Company and EKIUM, this project will provide the large-scale infrastructure needed to transport CO2 captured from various industrial companies out to the individual injection platforms and depleted gas fields. The Aramis project aims to transport and store about 5 Mtpa (million tons of CO2 per year) in the start-up phase, with a final capacity of 22 Mtpa through phased expansion beyond 2030.
