Five years ago, the founding members of WAHN's National board took the amazing foundation started in Atlanta and the chapters that followed in Ohio, North Carolina and Indiana, and put together a framework that would take Women's Affordable Housing Network (WAHN) national. CEO & President Ashley Prendergast Northcutt shares some incredible WAHN impacts, highlights wins from 2024 and provides a preview of what's coming in 2025 in her annual video address. Thanks to the passion of our members, the commitment of our allies, and the generosity of our sponsors, WAHN has become a movement with momentum and has so much unbelievable support from inside and outside our industry. We're grateful. We're excited. We're ready for what's next.

Bob Moss of MG Housing Strategies needs no introduction. We all know him for his expertise, his advocacy and his art, and he has contributed so much to the industry we all love. We are so honored that Bob has donated several original pieces of art to us to auction off at Summit, with proceeds going to Mercy Housing's Food Pantry. Bob, thank you!

Too often, the contributions of women are overshadowed, and it's time to change that narrative. Join us for a special panel event where we will shine a spotlight on the remarkable women who made this project a reality. Each panelist has a unique story and invaluable insights to share. Allow us to introduce Esther Sorrell, a visionary leader whose passion had been instrumental in driving this project forward. We're still in WAHNlympics trials, and so far Indiana Women's Affordable Housing Network would take the gold here, and Alabama Women's Affordable Housing Network has silver, but that's because we only have 3 posts so far with the #WAHNlympics hashtag! 😂 And sweet Jennifer Green is 2 of the 3!! Thanks Jennifer! We've seen a lot of shared posts about Summit and we appreciate them all, but the #WAHNlympics hashtag is required for us to track your points! We still have over 2 weeks of trials left before the Opening Ceremonies so you have plenty of time to compete for your chapter's WAHNlympics glory. The games truly begin when you arrive at Summit! Your chapter will have plenty of opportunities to earn points and ultimately take home the traveling disco ball trophy! Just don't forget the #WAHNlympics hashtag or your points won't get counted! https://lnkd.in/gZhDYHgd
Alright WAHN Chapters, listen up! WAHNlympics is here, and it’s about to get as exciting as a Dundies ceremony at Dunder Mifflin, without the HR complaints! I mean, who wouldn’t want to earn points by sharing, commenting, and generally being awesome on LinkedIn? As Michael Scott would probably say, '"You miss 100% of the shares you don't take." The first two events are related to getting our Summit 2025 messaging out to more people, and we will have more events during the Summit for those who join us there! This is your chance to show off your professional networking skills on LinkedIn. Share, comment, and engage with our official WAHN Summit 2025 posts to earn points for your chapter. Remember, it’s not just about quantity—it’s about thoughtful conversations that amplify our mission. So, get out there, engage with our WAHN Summit posts, and help your chapter win our legendary traveling disco ball trophy—a symbol of teamwork, success, and pure WAHN magic. Don't forget to add #WAHNlympics to your posts, comments, and shares! #WAHNlympics #Networking #AffordableHousing #TeamSpirit

It's WAHNcast Wednesday! In our latest episode of WAHNcast's "Asking for a Friend", we dive deep into a listener's experience with workplace bullying from a male supervisor. One key takeaway? Document everything! Dates, comments, and patterns of behavior can be invaluable if you need to escalate the issue to HR. The discussion is one you can't miss if you've ever had conflict in the workplace, or if you want to know how to support others who do! Episode links are in the comments! #WAHNcast #AFAF
